Fortnight of Prayer
As we kick off the new term, we are joining with two organised weeks of prayer, The Global Week of Prayer and National Week of Prayer.
Our vision as City Church is that, as we join churches across the globe and the UK in praying together, we will encounter God’s presence and carry his heart for transformation into our villages, our city and the nations. We will be praying for a spiritual awakening that changes the lives of people across Worcester and beyond. It is an opportunity for us to seek God for his next steps for us as a church in his Big Story and especially to pray for the university students about to come to Worcester.
We will be doing this in a variety of ways, and throughout this time there will be many ways and opportunities to join in.
What does it look like?
For the first week, we will have a 24-7 prayer room to join both at the Angel Centre and at home with resources for prayer, and a prayer walk on Saturday morning.
The second week, as well as encouraging prayer during your own personal prayer times, there will be corporate times of prayer at the Angel Centre and online.
