Micah 6:8

He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Today we are praying for the places that need God’s justice and mercy in our city.

Start/End Point: Angel Centre: Prayer for CCW and vision for the building

 

1. Blue Nightlife Route (30min)

Angel Place: Tramps, Mode, Velvet, La Scala

The Cross: The Slug and Lettuce, Cardena

High St (to Pump St): Keystones, Triple B

New St: Bottles, Alexanders, Beerkella, Cardinals Hat, Sin

Martin’s Gate

Lowesmoor: The Flag, Black Lace, Firefly

 

Prayer Points:

  • Nightlife

  • Safe Space Van and Street Pastors

  • Youth

  • Churches: St Andrew’s Methodist, Salvation Army, Hope Church, St Paul’s, LifeHouse, Freedom Church

 

 

2. Orange Castle St Route (35min)

Farrier Street: Doctors Clinic

Castle St: Crown Court, Police, University,

Croft St and over Sabrina Bridge

University Arena and back over Bridge Street

 

Prayer Points:

  • NHS

  • Courts and magistrates

  • Police and community

  • University and students

  • River

 

 

3. Green Bridge Route (35 min)

Angel Place to Broad St around the bus station

To All Saints Church

Across the bridge to Cripplegate Park

Through the park and back across the bridge

Copenhagen St. to the Guildhall and along Broad Street

Return to Angel Centre

 

Prayer Points:

  • People coming and going from and around Worcester

  • All Saints Church

  • River (CCW prophecy)

  • Cripplegate Park

  • Council (Mayor Matt Lamb)

 

 

4. Purple Guildhall Route (25min)

Angel Street and along the Cross

Guildhall

Cathedral

Museum of Royal Worcester (King St)

Return up Friar St and The Shambles

Prayer Points:

  • Empty buildings and businesses

  • Council, tourism, city planning and events

  • Mayor Matt Lamb

  • Bishop Hugh Nelson

 

5. Pink Hive Route (25 min)

The Hive

Around the Railway Station up Foregate St to Crown Courts

Back via Sansome Walk

 

Prayer Points:

  • Students, council, community

  • People coming and going from city

  • Crown Court justice

 

Return at 11am to the Angel Centre for refreshments!
