Position: Angel Centre Supervisor
We are looking for centre supervisor who will oversee the care of our new building the Angel Centre and its users. This building forms an integral and exciting part of our vision to be a transforming presence in our city. We desire that this building will become a community hub where people come for various services and opportunities and experience God’s transformation, as well as a place of worship for the church. About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed person to oversee the use and care of the Angel Centre and show the welcome and hospitality of God towards all who use it. They will represent the church, its vision and values to regular and occasional users and will often be first person that many may meet. They will be keen to see how the church can develop its vision for the Angel Centre as part of its overall vision to cultivate hope and transformation.
Skills will include being good with people, being well organised, able to solve problems and able to grasp opportunities. They will be part of the church staff team.
Main Responsibilities:
Overseeing the use, care and maintenance of the Angel Centre, facilitating it to be a welcoming, peaceful and community space where people find solace, friendship, life and hope.
Ensuring that regular tenants and other users are looked after and able to work together, and the first point of contact for tenants, hall space users and visitors.
Joining the weekly City Church staff meeting, which will include giving updates on the running of the centre and praying for its users and visitors.
Managing non-church booking requests, liaising with the church administrator to avoid any risk of double booking.
Salary and Hours:
£8,357.12 per annum, 12 hours per week (ideally Mon, Wed, Fri mornings).
